Our First Home

Create your own video slideshow at animoto.com.

A few images put together about our first house. We lived there from July of 2005 'til June of 2009. Madeline and Lydia were both born there. Lydia was only 7 month when we left to go to our new house where she finally got her own room and didn't have to sleep in the livingroom.

Family Day at the Museum

Took the girls to the Royal Alberta Museum today. The bug room was the biggest hit closely followed by the balloon animals.

Market Day

Saturday is family market day for us. We get most of our food from the markets. Today we were at the Whyte Ave farmers market. During the summer we go to the downtown open air market. The girls love it because they always get samples of olives, fresh apples, fresh pears and pasta with pesto.

Today we got a dozen organic eggs for free and I bought some mead.

Suzuki School

Teeny has been accepted into the Edmonton Suzuki school (not David Suzuki)! She will be playing cello. Can't you just see her now with her little glasses and a 1/10th sized cello.

We have been thinking about where to send her to kindergarten and after asking around we discovered that the Suzuki school. It is right across the river from us and the teachers are top notch. It has a unique program founded on the educational vision of musician Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. He believes deeply in the ability to nurture skills, attitudes, and abilities into our children. His writing shows a great love for character education and hope for any child to be there best.
